HISTORY: ITDF (NGO in Thailand) has been heavily involved in this area with the first clean water system being built in 1997 a school shortly following and now coffee-growing heavily in the village as a means of economic stability. The village of 150 people is comprised of mainly the Lahu tribe, for a total of 10 coffee farmers in the village. The origin of the villagers is traced from Mongolia and China.
